Anne’s Touch

In the Canadian television series Anne with an E, the titular character sees the world with her eyes… and with her hands and fingers. Haptic visuals (imagery that evokes a sense of touch) are ubiquitous in the series, as this elegant supercut shows. Film student Maddy Smeets’ extensive compilation makes a convincing argument for the fact that there’s a deliberate strategy at play here.
